What sets us apart is our understanding of the people who need our service. We don’t stop at emotional support. It is everyday; financial accountability, health, addiction issues and so much more. We provide privacy. We make our users the priority.
Mental Health &
Section 117
We work closely with mental health professionals to understand each individual’s needs and create a personalised care plan that includes counselling and one-on-one support. If a relapse happens, we take a compassionate approach, exploring the underlying causes and collaborating with the service user to set a plan and timeline to support their recovery.
Autism
Staff are trained in autism so they can support service users with different levels of Autism. We deploy a number of visual supports such as picture boards to prompt and remind important actions like dinner times and bedtime. In more severe cases, we understand the trigger points and navigate weaknesses through the service users own personal strengths. From here we build gradual structure through prompts whilst putting support plans in place.
Physical Disabilities
We make not just our accommodation accessible, but everyday life, ensuring a sense of inclusion and community for our service users regardless of the level of physical disability. This extends to staff assisted community visits and suitable voluntary work outside of Hebe Care. Internally, our properties can be adapted to accommodate all mobility requirements, including wheelchairs and hoists.
Acquired Brain Injury
Functioning to the cognitive level of the service user, we work with the utmost care and sensitivity to provide a stable environment for gradual rehabilitation, often defined on the individual’s needs. We put comfort first, allowing a patient and complex ongoing support plan.
Learning Disabilities
Planning is integral when dealing with learning disabilities. Hebe Care implements long term goals for service users, often starting with the most basic of life skills. We use each small step as a stepping stone to a more independent future.
Dementia
Dementia is a complex support process built upon patience. We understand that our service users are not entirely in the present; more so, they are existing within a specific point of time within their life. We provide comfort and stability by allowing them to work to a structure that they had at that point of time.
Sensory Impairment
With sensory impairment, our aim is for our service users to uphold the luxuries of everyday life whilst maintaining comfort and safety at all times. We do this by adapting spaces to individual requirements, often using textures to aid movement and removing trigger points such as loud noises and bright lights.
Contact Us
We understand that no two lives are the same, and that care isn’t cut and paste, meaning that every service user benefits from a solution tailored to them, based entirely on their personal needs.
