Activities

At Hebe Care, we are dedicated to helping our service users engage in a wide range of activities that promote personal growth and development. By encouraging participation in these activities, we provide an opportunity for individuals to explore new experiences and interests, all within a supportive and enriching environment. These activities take place in settings outside of the traditional confines of supported living, offering a refreshing change of pace and fostering a sense of independence and accomplishment. Through these experiences, our service users are empowered to build confidence, develop new skills, and form meaningful connections with others.

Make connections

We encourage interaction with other users from across our three sites, as well as the wider public, with the end goals of building friendships, getting some physical activity, and ultimately improving their mental health and wellbeing. With a mini-bus at hand for any occasion, we allow all activities to be hand-picked by the wants of those inside our supported living homes.

Leave the city for the day

Working on a month-by-month schedule, we aim to have a standard of three activities per week. This flexibility means that our users can take long walks in the nearby Lickey Hills, or seaside trips to Weston Super Mare in the warmer months. Our box at Aston Villa Football Club is always an enjoyable day out regardless of the result, and we always ensure that quality socialising time happens together with group trips to a local restaurant or the cinema.

Be part of a community

Hebe Care also believes in the importance of integrating our users into the local community. regular trips to the shops, and where applicable, assisting them with finding appropriate voluntary work. As with everything we do, we put the service user front and centre of the decision making, ensuring that they are safe, happy, and able to prosper as individuals.
